About the Movement

OUR FATHERS

If to please the people, we offer what we ourselves disapprove, how can we afterwards defend our work? Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair.

– General Washington to the Constitutional Convention delegates

Washington being a student of history recognized a commonality in the life cycles of all great civilizations. They would rise up by the strength of the human spirit, prosper for a season, only to eventually fall to the weaknesses of human nature.

Malice, envy, ignorance, falsehood, cupidity, lust, and fear had proven over and over again more lethal to civil society than any plague, any natural disaster or invading army. For they devour the things that count; the goodness, the decency, the honor, the integrity of a people.

General Washington knew the danger of allowing those fatal human frailties entry into the convention. Hence his admonishment to the delegates cited above that they best put principle before politics, lay their animosities aside, and raise a standard of excellence; a model for the ages that would celebrate the only proven guarantor of a nation’s spirit—a nation’s virtue.

Our Fathers did their part. Now in these times of intense politics, and little principle it’s essential that We the People do ours. If we are to avoid the dire fate of so many other once-great civilizations, we had better consider the “standard” raised by our Fathers and act wisely.

……….

ONCE UPON A TIME

In the beginning America’s story was a fairytale come true.

That a group of rag-tag colonies, impoverished, but for their ideals, could achieve independence against all odds and become in less than half a century the light of the world; strong, prosperous, faithful and free, was nothing short of miraculous.

And when the inevitable dragons born of malice, envy, ignorance, etcetera appeared they were quickly routed. Lately though, the beasts are returning, drawn by the scent of fresh meat as the American government in its folly has taken to feasting on our nation’s flesh while starving its spirit.

A bad moon has risen. Where are our knights in shining armor? Unless We the People can act quickly and decisively the coming harvest promises to be both bleak and fierce. The clock is about to strike midnight. “America the beautiful”” will soon turn into a pumpkin; Lady Liberty’s magnificent gown revert to rags.

Meanwhile, the handsome prince, once so charming, has “fundamentally transformed” himself into an overbearing, despotic and greedy ruler with penchants for lying to, spying on and stealing from his people.

Forces gather that in our better days would not have dared. Ah, but that was once upon a time in a land that suddenly seems far, far away.

……….

REASON TO BELIEVE

You can think us crazy if you like, but those of us responsible for this website haven’t given up on the notion that we all can still live happily ever after. We truly believe in our heart of hearts that America can be America again; strong, prosperous, faithful and free.

But for that to happen the “wise” and the “honest” must be convinced of it as well. Our purpose here is to provide a reason to believe that the forces which built America can yet save her.

• How do we rally those forces?
• Is it even possible given her current condition, to stop America from being added to the long list of once-great civilizations that in the end took their own lives?
• What, if anything, can We the People do to help?
These questions and more are asked and answered in Killing Washington, the booklet especially written for the millions in this country who have been wringing their hands instead of lending a hand for want of knowing what to do.

Read Killing Washington and not only will you know what to do, you’ll believe that you can do it!

Having a government that forces itself into every nook and cranny of our lives is not only unacceptable, it’s illegal. The “chains of the Constitution” were forged to secure government to its proper place. The fact that those constitutional restraints are no longer effective is not so much because government has forgotten its place, which it has, but rather because We the People have forgotten ours.

Where you have government “of the people… by the people… and for the people” it is ultimately the people who determine the character and scope of that government. Government by its very nature has an insatiable thirst for control. There is only one power capable of keeping that thirst in check. That power resides within the American people. Unfortunately, most don’t know it and the ones that do have no idea how to wield their power effectively.

Such was not always the case. There was a time when the folks were taught and most understood that every power added to government’s side of the equation necessarily subtracted an equal amount of liberty from theirs’. That arithmetic has not changed. But we sure as heck have. Gone are our mathematicians. We’ve become a nation of social engineers and pop psychiatrists intent on manipulating the numbers so as to “prove” the answers we desire, not necessarily the correct ones.

The tried and true common denominators of life, liberty and individual pursuits of happiness have been abandoned in favor of a new collective calculus. So, if you have a nagging feeling that nothing seems to add up anymore, you’re right!

America’s “books” don’t balance because the practices and principles of good accounting based upon “Natural Law” and affixed in the Constitution have been criminally altered allowing government to embezzle the wealth, power and liberty of the citizens it’s sworn to serve.

……….

HERE A PUFF, THERE A PUFF

The few powers which for practical reasons were best suited to be performed by national government were specifically listed in the Constitution for a reason; so there was no possibility of ever misunderstanding what the federal government could and could not legally do.

Simply put, if a particular function wasn’t on that list of permissible acts, the federal government could not do it, period, end of discussion!

So despite what our leaders would have us believe, the criteria for evaluating the constitutionality of a federal activity isn’t complicated at all. It doesn’t require years of legal training. If you can read, you can make the determination yourself.

Just check the list! It’s either there or it’s not.

Easy, right? Wrong! Thanks to years of perfidious Supreme Court decisions the plain English of the Constitution has been “interpreted” into a hodgepodge of self-serving “legal” gibberish that only they of “superior intellect” can decipher.

Consequently, it’s no longer what the Constitution actually says that matters, but rather what the Court says about what the Constitution says that carries any legal authority.

The High Court’s devious insistence on “interpreting” the supreme law of the land instead of simply reading and applying what’s written has flipped the simple premise of the Constitution on its head, altering in a bad way the fundamental relationship between the government and the people.

The criteria for determining the lawfulness of any and all federal activities has gone from—if it’s on the Constitution’s list of permitted powers it’s legal—to, anything that’s not specifically prohibited by the Constitution can be added to the permissible listing by virtue of a special blessing from the Supreme Court in lieu of the amendment process.

That, my friends, is a BIG difference. The former approach restrains government. The latter frees government to restrain you.

The Supreme Court has declared open season on your individual liberty. How is it that it’s now considered legitimate for our nation’s highest court to merely wave its gavel and effectively zap “government by the people” out of existence in a puff of dictatorial smoke?

Here a puff. There a puff. Everywhere a puff, puff.

And voila!
• “My country tis of thee”—gone!
• “Sweet land of liberty”—gone!
• “Government of the people… by the people… and for the people…”—all gone, like magic right before our eyes!

Appearing in their place, seemingly out of thin air, a post-constitutional, despotic, super-bureaucracy, capable of making, enforcing and adjudicating “law” all without any regard for, and totally unencumbered by the rule of law.

• Separation of powers?
• Consent of the governed?
• Presumption of innocence?

Look, nobody, not the President, not the Congress, not the Supreme Court, and certainly not an unelected, unaccountable, administrative leviathan has the authority to short-circuit the Bill of Rights.
Had enough?

“… life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?”

“… whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it.”

WELL?

What do you say We the People conjure up a little magic of our own? Want to make Big Daddy disappear? His hundreds of thousands rules and regulations vanish? Compel our courts to abide by the Constitution? Check out Killing Washington. You’ll be amazed how simple these tricks really are to perform.

……….

ROUND AND ROUND AND ROUND SHE GOES
… Where and when she stops nobody knows.

The power under the Constitution will always be in the people. It is entrusted for certain defined purposes and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing: and whenever it is executed contrary to their interests, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can and undoubtedly will, be recalled.

– General Washington

That of course was how it used to be before the advent of the D.C. merry-go-round, i.e., big government, granting big favors to big business, big money and to big labor in exchange for big bucks.

Is it any wonder why the rest of us are in big trouble? Election day? Really? “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
The winners get rich catering to the wishes of the special interests while the losers get even richer working as lobbyists for those very same special interests. Why should politicians fear our “power” to vote them out of a job? Can you say, Eric Cantor? Round and round and round she goes! The only real losers on election night are the American People.

Question? Is deciding between Democrats who are hell-bent on controlling all of us and Republicans who are hell-bent on controlling all of us really a choice? Surely, getting to select the least objectionable form of our own oppression is not what the Framers had in mind when they wrote the Constitution.

One thing is certain. The federal colossus ain’t goin’ nowhere if we continue in our attempts to take it down brick by brick, issue by issue. Running hither and thither like headless chickens fighting fire after fire while the arsonist remains free to do his thing is no way to keep the town from burning down.

Obamacare? Common Core? Abuses committed by the NSA, IRS, DOJ, EPA, etc? This, that, or any of the many lawless activities and bastard agencies spawned by our federal government?

Furgettabout them! Get rid of one and sure as shootin’ something worse will be sent down the pike to replace it. We will never end the “long train of abuses and usurpations” emanating from our out-of-control government by fighting to end what it does. There is only one effective remedy—put an end to what it is—a lawless, out of control government!

The good news is it’s not too late. The progressive assault on the Constitution, successful as it has been does contain a fatal flaw. The movement does have an Achilles’ heel.

Realizing from the start that attacking the Constitution head on would have been repugnant to most Americans living at the time their assault began, the progressives were forced into adopting Plan B—making the Constitution irrelevant. Give them credit, they’ve done quite a good job in that respect.

But the fact that the Constitution’s basic structure remains “on the books” scares the hell out of them because therein lies the potential of overturning the whole progressive apple cart. Hence the relentless character assassinations perpetrated against anyone who publicly supports the original purpose and intent of our founding document.

The essence of the century long, progressive stratagem against our great charter of liberty has been to marginalize it by building new administrative hierarchies atop the original constitutional foundation, each designed to circumvent and/or supersede the function and authority of the Constitution as written.

Erected without adherence to the existing building codes and zoning restrictions, they’ve swelled over time, becoming dangerously large and powerful, to the point where these unlawful erections can no longer be controlled and are now doing to the American people what it is that erections do.

Can we remain free if we continue to acquiesce while Lady Liberty is being repeatedly raped by the very people hired to protect her?

……….

SAVING WASHINGTON

The wise and the honest must always work to maintain the standard, otherwise they are neither wise nor honest.

– General Washington

Sadly, too many good people have thrown in the towel. They’ll tell you the administrative state is too big, too powerful; that the America of our Fathers is goney-gone; that our country has past the point of no return.

And the Constitution? Well, most view it fondly as a relic from a bygone America, to be dusted off every Fourth of July for the feel-good purpose of deluding ourselves into thinking that we’re still free.

Please excuse our “French”, but that’s just a load of bullshit! If the good General could give us one piece of advice he’d stress that as long as the fundamental structure of the Constitution remains, there is hope.

Sure, looking down on all the hits it’s taken has got to be killing Washington, but his spirit ain’t dead yet.

The booklet Killing Washington is really all about saving Washington; reviving his spirit in his land.

Here we do not represent, nor endorse any particular party, group, special interest or candidate. Our only allegiance is to the Constitution of the United States. Our only purpose is to provide the people of America with the means to bring about its restoration as the supreme law of our land.

We recognize the complicity of our courts, our federal, state and local governments, the two major political parties, along with big business and big labor in the creation of an intolerable and completely un-American status-quo.

Furthermore, we understand it is that status-quo which stands between the American citizen and his or her freedom; between the average Joe and his prosperity; between the individual and the unfettered exercise of his “unalienable rights.”

We realize that all the groups mentioned above have a tremendous self-interest in maintaining their elite positions within the current power structure and will fight tooth and nail to preserve their privilege.

Turning to the same people and institutions that caused the problem for their help in fixing the problem is not only futile, it’s insane. And yet we keep doing it.

We’ve really only one place to turn, and that is to the Constitution.

……….

A LITTLE LEAVEN RAISES THE WHOLE LOAF

If the federal government should overpass the just bounds of its authority and make tyrannical use of its power, the people… must appeal to the standard they have formed [the Constitution], and take such measures to redress the injury to the Constitution as exigency may suggest and prudence justify.

– Alexander Hamilton

Millions of Americans agree with Hamilton’s sentiments, but what are those “measures” he was alluding too? Nobody seems to know!

Our federal government has become so massive, so powerful and out of control, so in your face that the mere question of “Where to start?” is so overwhelming that the complexities of the query itself are enough to shut down emerging remedies at the get go.

Pinpointing that one vulnerability, that one opening, locating a single effective point of attack is like finding the proverbial needle in the haystack.

There is a day every November however, when the federal ship of state must lower its shields to power up, leaving its soft underbelly exposed. That’s our moment. Yet year after year it passes by without incident because America’s once savvy citizenry has morphed into “The Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight.”

Well get ready to lock and load because that’s about to change. How many remember the 1990’s Republican’s famous “contract with America?” What do you say we take it up a notch by having America take out a contract on the gangster Republicans along with their partners in crime, the Democrats?

Unless you’ve already read Killing Washington, you probably won’t believe this, but “whacking” the entire federal establishment is not a very difficult task at all. Our biggest obstacle to successfully “taking out” D.C. is getting enough people to put down their damn cell phones and pay attention.

This is where you guys come in. We need you, your friends, family, co-workers and neighbors to make this happen; to spread the good news; to start a buzz; to take our idea and build a genuine “John Doe” movement around it. If just 10% of you actively endorse this effort it would stand an even chance of success. With 20% support the powers that be would find it virtually impossible to stop. “A little leaven” can truly “raise the whole loaf”.

Unlike other organizations who relentlessly solicit your hard earned dollars in the cause of freedom only to spend the bulk of it on their own lavish self-preservation, rather than as promised, on the preservation of your liberty, we are not asking for your money.

We are asking for your help! We don’t have a huge organization to support. The American people organizing themselves around the Killing Washington strategy will get the job done.

Not only do we not want your money, we think you should have the opportunity to make a little in return for your efforts. Free enterprise built this country. It can certainly help save it.

Killing Washington is the perfect fundraising tool for schools, churches, veterans groups, political organizations and candidates, sport teams, scouts, charities, senior citizens, or for anyone else who wants to earn a little money.
If you’re interested in helping yourself or your organization while helping your country, please check out our generous, quantity discount pricing schedule.

Forget the cookies, candles and candy etc. Sell liberty! The American people are hungry for it. Offer them a solution they can sink their teeth into; one that makes sense, that’s lawful, non-violent, and hopeful, and they will eat it up.

……….

FOR GOODNESS SAKE

The real meat served up in Killing Washington is the proposed Oath of Office/Constitutional Standard Act or “OOOAct.”

Under the OOOAct we all live happily ever after. Big government cannot exist under the OOOAct.

Under the OOOAct the Constitution reigns supreme which means our courts don’t.

Under the OOOAct We the People get our mojo back; those special interests aren’t so special anymore; the Washington weasels face extinction as does every rule and regulation not voted into law by Congress, along with every illegal executive order and every unconstitutional court decision.

Under the OOOAct America will be America again; strong, prosperous, faithful and free.

Together, we can make it happen.

Some believe it is only great power that can hold evil in check. But that is not what I have found. I have found that it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay.

– Gandalf

Now there’s a wizard who knows his shit. It’s true though, the cumulative effect of small, dedicated acts by “ordinary folk” can yield extraordinary results.

Alexis de Tocqueville famously wrote back in 1831:
“America is great because she is good.”

But why was she good? She was good because the “ordinary folk” back then believed in the tried and true virtues of life:

The sacredness of a promise; the sense of moral obligation; common ordinary veracity; personal integrity, individual liberty, elementary justice… to mention a few. And in the end—when all else in the world crashes about our lives—they are the things to which we must turn; the things that count.

– Stewart Edward White

So for goodness sake don’t despair. It is a useless emotion. Turn to the things that count!

A power lies in our hearts that is greater than all the powers of exploding gases and expanding steam in which we place such store and upon which our civilization is built.
For in our hearts and minds is the power to mold Earth into the pattern of God’s Kingdom.

– Dr. Alexander Cannon

Our Founders believed that every human being is born with the wherewithal to create their own little slice of heaven along with the freedom to succeed or fail in that endeavor. For each human heart is blessed with a portion of the same power which made and sustains our universe; each mind the ability to manifest that power into any reality it can envision; each soul endowed with the freedom to access that power through the simple acceptance of the goodness intrinsic to itself.

The genius of our Fathers was that they saw in the natural order of things a blueprint for a just and lasting Commonwealth.
In writing the Constitution they sought to identify Nature’s eternal governing principles, which they termed “Natural Law,” and apply them to the governing of men by men.

They theorized that the only real pathway to peace, prosperity and happiness for both individual and nation alike was a strict, religious adherence to the self-evident truths revealed in the “common sense” workings of the universe.

To them Natural Law was True Law; unchanging and everlasting; binding on all humankind, valid for all nations and all times. As such it was the only reliable basis for just and honest government.

The concepts that “… all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,” are reasoned expressions of Natural Law. The right to life, property, personal security, and conscience are precepts which flow from existence itself and can never be legitimately altered or repealed by a senate, a president or a court of law.

The essence of Natural Law is best expressed in an old adage that says “God wrote His laws in the hearts of men.”

Just imagine what forty, fifty, sixty million hearts beating as one, in harmony with “the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God” could accomplish; hearts overflowing with love for Washington’s America, for liberty, for justice; for “the things that count.”

For remember, the door to your heart opens on the inside. OPEN IT.

– Melchizedek Truth Principles

……….

LET’S ROLL

And so it was that once upon a time, a small group of very wise, very brave men opened their hearts and pledged their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to the noble task of molding the Earth into “the pattern of God’s Kingdom.”

Now it’s up to us to continue their work. The only ones who can save us all are all of us. It would certainly be a shame to allow our dragons to overrun us now. We are the knights in shining armor that we’ve been waiting for.

Fairytales do come true for those who believe! We believe. And once you’ve read Killing Washington you will too.

There are plenty of books available that teach about history, but there is only one that teaches how to make history. That’s Killing Washington.

We can’t urge you enough to pick up a copy and join with us in making America strong, prosperous, faithful and free.

They believed that they were doing a wonderful thing. They felt themselves to be instruments in accomplishing a kind of ‘manifest destiny.’ Their exodus [from Europe] was that of a chosen people who were at length to lay the everlasting foundations of God’s Kingdom upon earth…

– Historian John Fisk on the early American People

We’ve lost our way. For the past 100 years we have been wandering in the wilderness. It’s time we re-enter into the “Promised Land” and tend to our Father’s fields.

We can do this! We’re Americans!

“Let’s Roll!”
